1) Football teaches toughness and teamwork and obedience.
2) Boyscouts teaches self-reliance, leadership, and teamwork.
3) Being involved with the opposite sex will teach you about your likes and dislikes and limits. But caution is called for. Don’t get “carried away” in your heart only to be heartbroken; don’t delude yourself by trumping reality with hopes and ideals. Avoid pregnancy and STD’s by having “safe sex”. Don’t be afraid to say No to having sex or even to continuing the relationship. Mania is like a sickness and needs to be curbed. Be aware of how you feel with and about the other person. And if life is a barrage of crises or you’re just too busy to be available in a relationship, then don’t seek or get involved with someone until better times come along. A relationship can become complex and taxing if it’s not right.
