Ambiguities and Possibilities

1. You walk into the gym and get a big hearty “Hi!” from one of the woman employees. You’ve talked with her more personally, and clearly she’s comfortable with you, possibly even likes you. She’s just so “out there” this time. You ham it up loudly and back and forth with her for a few seconds as you walk toward the checkin desk. Meanwhile, another woman employee – that you’re familiar and been talkative with – has arrived to work and notices you as well, just as you’re checking in. In clear earshot of the first gal, she too gives you a big “Howdy!, How’s it going?!”, expressing her own obviously high comfort level with you. Now, will the first gal feel jealous or validated? Be more or less interested in you? Could she be mad that you’re also friendly with other women staff although she didn’t know it?
